Welcome to the Sensory Show, hosted by Kelli Arnone! This first episode is an introduction to Kelli’s background, her passions, and what you can expect from this show over the weeks to come. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy from San Jose State University in California and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has worked with people of all ages and abilities over the years, and now focuses on helping children (and their families) to be successful in every way, by improving each child’s sensory processing, behavioral and emotional control, and ability to learn. Kelli also has a strong understanding of how food and environmental factors can relate to symptoms commonly seen in children with sensory challenges, autism spectrum disorders and/or attention deficit disorders. Her ultimate goal is to help children feel successful and proud, and their families to feel less stressed.

Kelli and her husband Brian Arnone run Pediatric Potentials, Inc., a private practice sensory clinic in the greater Orlando area of Florida. Their practice is dedicated to helping children with sensory processing disorders, providing Speech and Occupational Therapy, as well as Neurofeedback services. Parents, doctors, teachers, families and friends can all learn, so please pass this on to anyone who is interested in really understanding sensory processing disorders and what they can do to help! Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks as Kelli defines sensory processing disorder and explains common symptoms, related conditions, and activities to try at home and school. She will also air numerous interviews with experts including doctors, specialists, teachers, and most importantly, the parents of these wonderful children!
